Student review: I Can See the Ending by Will Kostakis

This month, Emily of Asquith Girls High School reviews one of the short stories featured in Begin, End, Begin: A #LoveOzYA Anthology: Will Kostakis’ I Can See the Ending

‘I Can See The Ending’ is a story that really opens your mind to the idea of living for the moment. I really enjoyed the cyclical structure that brought the story to a close with revealing why many of the futures seen happen as they do.

I also enjoyed the style of writing, I found the combination of thought, description, and dialogue to be balanced very well. I found the characters to be genuine and relatable, regardless of the unique talents. It presented a real, awkward first teenage relationship drama.

Everything about it was connectable and the writing was captivating.
